Intended for married couples, the Little Book of Great Dates provides “52 creative ideas to make your marriage fun.” The ideas are practical. Each would work for people at different stages in marriage. The short chapters (one for each date idea) end with suggestions of activities to do and questions to discuss centered around the date theme. Some of the themes include celebrating each others’ differences, finding shared passions, working around the house together, remembering the first sparks of love, anniversaries, and holidays.

Personally, I wasn’t too inspired by any of the date ideas, but that may be just because of where we’re at with young kids and tight finances. I will be keeping the book around to reference in the future. I do appreciate the conversation topic starters–sometimes after being married for a long time it becomes easy to forget what to talk about.

In exchange for an unbiased review, I received a copy of this book from the editor.
