The Sword and The Song is the third book in C.E. Laureano’s The Song of Seare series. I haven’t read the first two books. And it took me a little while to get into the story. I think it would have helped to know the backstory from the previous two books (though since I haven’t read them, maybe they wouldn’t have).

The story unfolds in the island kingdom of Searle, a Celtic-esque kingdom of druids, knights and magic where followers of God are fighting off the literal forces of evil. Runes, harps and swords all come into play in saving the kingdom.
